Description : Bass Rider is a new plugin from Waves, another simple tool with several controls for automatically controlling the bass level.

A companion to the popular Vocal Rider plugin, Bass Rider creates the perfect level of bass without altering the original sound. Optimized specifically for the frequency range and amplitude characteristics of bass instruments, Bass Rider easily handles any bass: synthetic, amplified, acoustic, and more.

This is the so-called “time saver” - Bass Rider equalizes the level and density of bass throughout the mix. Unlike compressors, the plugin works with each note without disturbing their internal dynamics, which allows them to sound more natural than when using a compressor.
